The Orange Crown Imperial, Fritillaria 'Aurora', is a stately royal beauty that is imposing and impressive in the garden. Brilliantly colored bell-shaped pendant flowers are beneath crowns of upright green leaves. Plant in clumps, in a rich, well-drained sunny area. The odor scares away mice, moles and other rodents.Plant Fritillaria immediately after acquiring the bulbs. Fritillaria prefers to be kept in the ground, and after flowering and complete drying of the leaves, the stems should be cut off just above the ground.
