The Red Spider Lily, 'Lycoris Radiata', have multiflowering, bright red flowers, on 18 stems. The strap-shaped green foliage disappears in July and the flower spike bursts forth in August. They grow in cool greenhouses, outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced. Elsewhere protect where temperatures drop into the twenties.
