The Asiatic Lily Blackout, 'Lilum 'Blackout'�, has extremely dark red, almost black, flowers that produces 4-5 flowers per stem. The dark green foliage makes a great contrast with its flower color. 'Blackout'� has a plant height of 36'� and is one of the newest Lily'�s on the market today. Cutting the pollen off the middle of the flower, not letting it touch the flower, will increase the bloom time on Lily'�s. Blooming in mid to late June, 'Blackout'� should be planted in full sun and in a well drained soil. Proven to be resistant to rots and virus, it should not be left out of the perennial garden.
