The Evening Primrose, Glowing Magenta, 'Oenothera kunthiana', is a new Oenothera unlike any other. The deep pink flowers stand out against its deep green foliage. It has a plant height of 6'� and a spread of 5-10'�. 'Glowing Magenta'� is unusually compact for its species and has an extremely long flowering time, (June to September.) Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. Try planting 'Glowing Magenta'� with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. For a wonderful sun ground cover, one will not want to leave 'Glowing Magenta'� out of their garden.
