Cape Marigolds bloom in summer and fall in cool climates, and late winter and early spring in warm climates.The African Cape Marigold Daisy prefers full sun. They do best in light, well drained, and dry soils. Do not over water. In warm dry climates, seed in the fall and in cooler climates, and plant seed after last frost. This plant is excellent for naturalized areas and as ground cover for large areas. It is also great for parking strips, borders, large pots and tubs.
