The Coreopsis 'Tequilla Sunrise'� is a very exciting new variety. In the Tickseed family, the gorgeous variegated olive-green foliage, turning to mahogany in the fall, and cream to yellow flowers with a red eye, is a great addition to any garden. Blooming from June to October, it has a plant height of 12'� and a spread of 10-12'�. 'Tequilla Sunrise'� should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis 'Tequilla Sunrise'� looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens.
